1. Filtering Various Yogurts:

This yogurt filter is suitable for any self-made yogurt in a well-set solid state after fermentation. No additional tools like cheesecloth are needed. If filtering Greek yogurt or if the milk is too thin, you can use a layer of cheesecloth.

2. Filtering Process:

The filtering process occurs under refrigeration for a duration of 48 hours or less. The longer the time, the thicker the consistency. Experiment with different durations to find the texture you personally prefer.

3. Pouring Fermented Yogurt:

Before pouring the fermented yogurt into the yogurt strainer, avoid stirring. Pour it slowly into the mesh strainer. Initially, there may be a small amount that leaks out; this is normal and usually stabilizes after a few minutes.

4. Yogurt Leakage:

If most or all of the yogurt pours out immediately after pouring it into the yogurt filter, it indicates excessive stirring or insufficient coagulation. The yogurt is still edible or can be used as a starter culture, but further filtering may not be possible.

5. Unsuitable Products:

Products like buttermilk and liquid dairy with a thin consistency cannot be filtered. Please avoid using them with the filter.
